Morocco Suffers Heavy 4-1 Defeat to Colombia in Kings World Cup Nations Opener

The Atlas Lions missed their entry into the Kings World Cup Nations football tournament, losing to the Cafeteros of Colombia (4-1) at the KL Arena in Milan, Italy.
The Moroccan team got off to a very poor start on Thursday evening in the Kings World Cup Nations football tournament, losing to Colombia in their first match. The Cafeteros largely dominated the first half. Brihan Gutiérrez scores in the 4th minute. The situation worsens for Morocco, in the last minutes of the first half. Julio Perea and Alejandro Ortega score and worsen the score (3-0). Upon returning from the locker room, another Colombian scored the fourth goal. The only consolation prize: Fouad El Amrani managed to obtain and convert a penalty.
The presence of Mbark Boussoufa and former Botola figures, Zakaria Hadraf and Issam Erraki, was not of great use to the Moroccan team. It also missed several opportunities to get back into the game. Nadir Louad missed a crucial penalty in stoppage time (40+5), which could have reduced the score and changed the course of the match.
After this heavy defeat, the Atlas Lions will face Ukraine, who suffered a heavy defeat (5-0) against Turkey.
