Morocco Stuns Spain 4-1 in Futsal World Cup Prep Match

The Moroccan futsal team took its revenge on Spain. After suffering a surprise defeat in the first friendly match, the Moroccans turned the tide on Wednesday, winning 4-1.
This double confrontation, which is part of the preparation for the Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan (September 14 - October 6), kept all its promises. On Monday, Spain had caused a sensation by ending Morocco’s long unbeaten streak. But the players of Hicham Dguig quickly set the record straight.
The return match was marked by a reaction of pride from the Moroccans. Trailing, the Atlas Lions equalized thanks to Anas Dahani (18th). In the second half, they accelerated, scoring three more goals through Otmane Boumezou (30th), Idriss Raiss El-Fenni, (39th) and Anas El Ayyane (40th).
