Morocco Streamlines Driver’s License Process with New Bank Partnerships

Barid Cash and Al Barid Bank have mobilized their agencies to facilitate the filing of driver’s license and vehicle registration applications for Moroccans, without having to go to vehicle registration centers. The operation starts first in Casablanca on August 9.
According to the National Road Safety Agency (NARSA), this change is part of the convention signed in June, which covers the management of citizen contact at the Barid Cash and Al Barid Bank agencies, digitization, electronic and physical archiving of files and electronic exchange with NARSA services, as well as the delivery of documents to clients and the collection of payments for the various services.
The first phase covers 72 Barid Cash and Barid Bank agencies, NARSA said in a statement, specifying that the operation will be launched in Casablanca on August 9, then extended a week later to the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, before being generalized from September 1 to all regions of the Kingdom.
Interested parties can consult the list of agencies concerned on the NARSA, Barid Cash and Al Barid Bank websites. They can also choose the agencies closest to their place of residence to file their applications without an appointment, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
