Morocco-Spain Ferry Services Resume After Diplomatic Thaw

Morocco and Spain will gradually resume maritime links starting this Tuesday, April 12, following the normalization of relations between the two countries.
Thus, shipping companies will gradually resume their passenger services between the Moroccan ports of Tanger Med and Tanger Ville and the Spanish ports of Algeciras and Tarifa, according to a statement from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
Sea travel will resume this Tuesday with passenger and bus services, the statement notes, adding that the resumption of sea travel will include passengers with cars by April 18.
The medium and long-haul maritime lines operating in the ports of Tanger Med and Nador have gradually resumed their activities this Monday, April 11, towards the Spanish, French and Italian ports, concludes the note.
