Morocco Slashes Prices on 21 Essential Medications, Including Psoriasis and Pregnancy Drugs

The Ministry of Health has decided to revise the prices of several drugs. This reduction concerns some antifungal products, anti-inflammatory drugs, antihypertensives and anesthesia products.
It is a set of 21 drugs whose selling prices were between 193 dirhams and 10,918 dirhams before the revision, according to a statement from the ministry.
For example, "Humira", a drug prescribed in the treatment of severe chronic plaque psoriasis in children. Its price has dropped from 10,918 dirhams to 7,623 dirhams.
Also, the price of the drug "Rhesonativ" used to prevent immunization of an Rh-negative woman during pregnancy and childbirth will drop from 5,084 dirhams to 3,988 dirhams.
Among the other drugs whose prices will see a slight decrease are "Actrapid", prescribed for the treatment of diabetes. The price will drop from 193.10 dirhams to 186 dirhams.
