Morocco Showcases Jewish Heritage to Boost Tourism from US Jewish Community

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is mobilizing to promote the Moroccan destination to the American Jewish community. In consultation with four Regional Tourism Councils, the office organized a press trip last week for two American journalists to present the tourist assets of the kingdom to this community.
"Through this initiative, the ONMT presents the components of the Jewish cultural heritage still present in Morocco and highlights the tourist attractions of the destination. It is also a matter of highlighting the attractiveness and diversity of the destination and consequently generating great interest for the Moroccan destination," says Aujourd’hui Le Maroc, specifying that the two journalists who began their visit to Morocco on February 8, went to Rabat, Casablanca, Fez and Marrakech-Essaouira.
"In the ochre city, the two guests visited the Majorelle Garden, the Yves Saint-Laurent Museum and the Berber Museum. They also visited Dar Si Saïd and the Dar El Bacha Museum, as they took a guided tour of the medina (Jemaâ El Fna Square, Souk, Koutoubia Mosque, etc.)," details the newspaper, which indicates that, throughout this educational tour, the American blogger shared his culinary and cultural experience in Morocco with his community, made up of 48,900 followers on Instagram and 1,890 subscribers on YouTube.
