Morocco Sets February 10 Deadline for Military Service Registration and Exemption Requests

Young Moroccans wishing to be enrolled in the next promotion of compulsory military service and who have not yet done so are invited to fill out the registration form by February 10 at the latest.
Young recruits wishing to benefit from the exemption, for one of the reasons set by the law on military service, are also called upon to submit their requests within this time limit, announced the Minister of the Interior.
The request for exemption must be accompanied by the necessary documents proving the reason for the exemption to the local administrative authorities, or to the headquarters of the province, prefecture or district prefecture where their residence is located.
The exemption requests will be submitted for examination to the provincial commissions which will make the necessary decision immediately after the expiry of the time limit set for the registration process, the note specified.
