Morocco Sets Dates for 2021 Legislative Elections Amid COVID-19 Precautions

The dates of the legislative elections are now known. They should last three months. They will take place in strict compliance with the health and security measures issued by the government in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus and its variants in Morocco.
The Ministry of the Interior has set the dates for the legislative elections, and the political parties should be informed of them in the coming days. These elections should last three months. Three dates are to be remembered.
The professional elections should start on Friday, August 6. As for the parliamentary, group and regional elections, they should take place on Wednesday, September 8. The elections of the members of the House of Advisors should be held on Tuesday, October 5.
The 2021 legislative elections will take place in a particular manner due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Health and security measures will thus be strengthened.
