Morocco Sets Up Crisis Cells for Nationals in Spain Amid COVID-19 Outbreak

Crisis cells have been set up at the level of the Moroccan consular representations in Spain, in order to receive communications from Moroccan nationals in connection with the Coronavirus epidemic.
Telephone numbers are made available to citizens in case of suspicion of a Covid-19 infection, especially with the increase in confirmed cases and deaths in the Iberian neighbor.
In consultation with the Moroccan Embassy in Madrid, all the Kingdom’s consulates remain in direct contact with the health facilities in their region, in order to ensure rapid care for Moroccans.
The city of Madrid has decreed the closure of schools and universities since Monday, March 9, as part of the drastic measures taken to curb the spread of the virus.
