Morocco Seeks Redemption Against Algeria in Handball World Cup Clash

The Moroccan national handball team, plagued by a series of defeats since the start of the 2023 World Cup, is preparing to face Algeria this Saturday at 3:30 pm as part of the second day of Group B of the President’s Cup. The Atlas Lions, led by Nourredine Bouhaddioui, are looking to redeem themselves after their defeat against Tunisia (25-30) in the first round.
This is a revenge match for the Moroccans, who had already crossed paths with Algeria during the group stage of the 2021 World Cup in Egypt, where they had suffered a narrow defeat. The national coach must find solutions to avoid repeating past mistakes, especially on the defensive level.
However, Algeria is not in great shape either, having lost all three of its group stage matches and its first match in the President’s Cup against Macedonia (25-40). Morocco, after this match, will face Macedonia on Monday, in the last match of Group B of the President’s Cup. It should be noted that the match will be broadcast live on the Arryadia channel from 3:30 pm.
