Morocco Seeks to Attract US Aerospace Investors in High-Level Trade Mission

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Green and Digital Economy, Moulay Hafid El Alamy, began on Monday a working visit to the United States to meet with American investors.
This mission led by Elalamy will make it possible to make known the assets of the Moroccan industrial platform to the suppliers of the American aircraft manufacturer, particularly the Boeing ecosystem, in order to strengthen the local supply chain through the establishment of new investment projects.
According to a press release from the ministry, Elalamy will discuss in this sense with the Executive Vice President of Boeing and CEO of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) subsidiary, Stanley A. Deal, the progress of the ecosystem and the prospects for its strengthening.
This visit involves the participation of the Grouping of Moroccan Aeronautical and Space Industries (GIMAS) and the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE).
The minister will have B2B meetings with senior officials representing in particular Boeing suppliers in the two American aeronautical hubs of Seattle and Wichita, it is specified.
