Morocco Seeks 354,000 Tons of US Durum Wheat in Major Import Tender

The Interprofessional Office of Cereals and Legumes (ONICL) is looking for a significant quantity of cereals. It has just launched a tender to import 354,000 tons of durum wheat of American origin.
According to Le360, the operation is provided for in the Free Trade Agreement between Morocco and the United States.
The results of the tender must be communicated on Thursday, January 9, 2020. The first lots are expected to be received before the end of May next year.
It should be noted that the government approved, on December 26, 2019, a decree suspending the import duties on soft wheat and its derivatives for the period from January 2 to April 30, 2020, writes the same source.
