Morocco Secures Promising Midfielder Anouar Ait El Hadj from Belgium for National Team

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is said to have succeeded in convincing the Genk midfielder, Anouar Ait El Hadj, to join the den of the Atlas Lions.
Sources have announced the integration of the 21-year-old player into the Moroccan national football team, indicating that Ait El Hadj has decided to wear the Moroccan jersey after long negotiations with the FRMF and after playing for the Belgian national team.
The Genk midfielder, who had joined the Belgian national team, has finally chosen to join the Atlas Lions, like his compatriot Bilal El Khannous, considered one of the promising talents of Belgian football and who was one of the revelations of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The information was confirmed by a source close to Ait El Hadj’s family, who denied the rumors spread by the Belgian media announcing that the young player had joined the Belgian national team.
The Moroccan Federation continues to recruit young dual-national talents playing in Europe. Recently, the governing body of Moroccan football has also managed to snatch Ilias Akhomach and Brahim Diaz from Spain, and Eliesse Ben Seghir from France.
