Morocco Secures Lille Striker Osame Sahraoui as FIFA Approves Nationality Switch from Norway

FIFA officially announced on Thursday, September 26, the change of sports nationality of Osame Sahraoui, thus allowing the young striker to wear the jersey of the Atlas Lions.
This decision was carefully considered for the LOSC (Lille) player, who preferred the colors of Morocco to those of Norway, his country of birth.
Despite multiple calls from the Nordic selection, Sahraoui ultimately opted for his father’s country. "It was a difficult choice to make, my heart being divided between Norway and Morocco," he said in a statement, expressing his gratitude to Norway, which welcomed and trained him in football.
After long discussions with his entourage, the player finally decided in favor of Morocco, a decision that delights the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
