Morocco Reports First Coronavirus Death: 89-Year-Old Italian Woman

The Ministry of Health just announced, this Tuesday, March 10, the death of the second detected and confirmed case of coronavirus in Morocco.
The announcement of the first death related to Covid-19 was made around 12:45 p.m. It is the 89-year-old woman, from Italy, who was diagnosed positive on March 4 by the Pasteur Institute.
According to the statement from the supervisory ministry, the victim, who was in critical condition, suffered from chronic heart and respiratory diseases.
The deceased passed away around 12:45 pm on Tuesday, despite the intervention of a medical staff composed of eminent professors in infectious and viral diseases and in resuscitation.
