Morocco Reports 42 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Fatalities Rise to 7,314

Some 42 deaths due to the coronavirus were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health, bringing to 7,314 the number of people who have succumbed to Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic in Morocco last March.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, there are 17 deaths, including 15 in Casablanca and 2 in Settat. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and Marrakech-Safi each report 5 deaths, including 4 in Marrakech against 3 in Salé, 1 in Rabat, 1 in Kénitra and 1 in El Kelâa des Sraghna.
The coronavirus killed 4 patients in the Oriental region, all in Berkane. Then come Souss-Massa and Fès-Meknès, each with 3 deaths, including 2 in Tata, 2 in Séfrou against 1 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and 1 in Fès.
Daraâ-Tafilalet and Guelmin-Oued-Noun each record 2 deaths, including 2 in Guelmin, 1 in Errachidia and 1 in Midelt. As for Beni Mellal-Khénifra, it reports a single death in Béni Mellal.
