Morocco Reports 31 COVID-19 Cases Among Pregnant Women, Total Cases Rise to 7,211

Morocco has recorded a total of 31 pregnant women tested positive for covid-19 since the start of the pandemic. To date, the kingdom has 7,211 cases after the detection of 78 new cases.
31 pregnant women have tested positive for the coronavirus in Morocco since the start of the pandemic, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday.
In his daily press briefing, the Director of Epidemiology and Disease Control at the Ministry of Health, Mohamed El Youbi, specified that 30 out of the 31 women did not show any symptoms of the disease. Only the 31st was tested positive in a state of moderate severity, he said.
It should be noted that some women, who have reached the end of their pregnancies, have given birth to healthy babies, thanks to the expertise of qualified healthcare personnel, at the bedside of these patients.
