Morocco Reports No Confirmed Monkeypox Cases as Global Outbreak Spreads

The three suspected cases of monkeypox reported in Morocco are negative, according to the Ministry of Health.
According to a statement from the ministry, the results of the laboratory analyzes carried out following the three suspected cases are negative.
Due to international mobility, particularly the Marhaba operation which is starting soon, the kingdom has put in place a response and surveillance plan as well as the necessary measures to stop the disease, it is noted.
Globally, the disease continues to spread. To date, more than 20 countries have confirmed or reported suspected cases of monkeypox, according to the WHO, citing as examples Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.
