Morocco Reports 8,997 Total COVID-19 Cases, 90% Recovery Rate

Morocco has recorded 8,997 cases of coronavirus since last March. Nearly 90% of them have fully recovered while 791 active cases are currently under treatment, including 9 in serious condition.
The Kingdom is gradually moving towards a complete deconfinement with an epidemiological situation that is improving day by day. The Chloroquine treatment, recommended by Professor Raoult, would not be unrelated to this.
According to the head of the Epidemiological Diseases Department at the Epidemiology Directorate of the Ministry of Health, Hind Ezzine, 66 new cases of Covid-19 infection and 56 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.
While the number of recoveries continues to increase, the mortality rate is still declining. As for the patients under treatment, they amount to 791. Of the nine cases in intensive care or intensive care, four were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, four in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and one in Marrakech-Safi.
