Morocco Reports 26 New COVID-19 Deaths, Over 2,000 Fresh Cases as Pandemic Surges

Morocco recorded 26 new deaths and 2,157 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours. The total number of positive cases as of September 8 is 77,878.
This assessment is the one recorded since March. Of the 16,702 active cases under treatment in hospitals nationwide, 244 cases are now admitted to the resuscitation and intensive care units, including 52 intubated, the Ministry of Health said in its daily information bulletin on Covid-19.
