Morocco Reports 246 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 13,215

246 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded since last night in Morocco, the Ministry of Health said, according to which the number of cases in the kingdom since last March now stands at 13,215.
Here are the regions that have been affected by covid-19 since last night:
• Casablanca-Settat: +31
• Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: +84
• Marrakech Safi: +74
• Rabat Salé Kénitra: +13
• Fès-Meknès: +45
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +5
• Souss-Massa: +1
• Guelmim Oued Noun: +1
Here are the other key figures:
• One new death was recorded. Total at 230. Fatality rate at 1.74%
• 9,428 tests. Total at 712,312.
• 177 people under treatment. Total at 3,827.
• 68 new recoveries. Total at 9,158.
The Ministry of Health calls on Moroccans to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
Note that the state of health emergency is normally due to end in a week.
