Morocco Reports 203 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Rises to 15,745

Some 203 coronavirus-infected cases were recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced at its traditional press conference, bringing the total to 15,745 since the start of the covid-19 epidemic.

• Fès-Meknès: +37
• Marrakech-Safi: +23
• Casablanca-Settat: +22
• Rabat-Salé-Kénitra: +22
• Oriental: +14
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +6
• Béni Mellal-Khénifra: +3
• Souss-Massa: +3
• Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab: +2
Here are the other figures of the day:
• 5 deaths since last night. Total at 250. Fatality rate at 1.59%.
• 13,829 tests. Total at 862,881.
• 3,212 people currently under treatment.
• 218 new recoveries. Total at 12,283.
Note that the sharp increase in recent weeks is due to industrial outbreaks in Tangier, Kenitra, Casablanca or Laayoune. According to the Ministry of Health, the situation is under control.
