Morocco Reports 188 New COVID-19 Cases, Rabat Region Hardest Hit

188 new infections have been recorded in Morocco since last night, the Minister of Health announced this morning. This unfortunately still high figure comes after the record number of infections the day before.
Once again, the Rabat region is in the lead with 151 additional cases, followed by Tangier (+18), Casablanca (+5), Marrakech (+5), Fez (+5) and Guelmim (+4). Yesterday, in his daily report, the ministry had reported the presence of a professional cluster in the Kenitra region. It seems that this is still the case today.
In addition, 172 people have been admitted to the hospital since yesterday for treatment. Currently, the hospitals in the kingdom are treating 1455 people.
