Morocco Reportedly Acquires Advanced Ukrainian Anti-Tank Missile System

The Royal Moroccan Armed Forces (FAR) would have a Corsar anti-missile system, manufactured in Ukraine.
Based on a photo of a Corsar simulator published on the Arab Defense and Armament Forum, the Menadefense website reports that Morocco holds an RK-3 Corsar, a lightweight and portable anti-missile system designed to destroy fixed and mobile armored targets, or point targets such as helicopters.
The missile also has the ability to destroy armored vehicles and bunkers and could even shoot down M1A2 Abrams or Leopard 2A6 tanks. The Corsar has a system that allows it to hit its targets day and night, thanks to thermal imaging, and to launch shaped-charge (RK-3 K) and highly explosive fragmentation (RK-3OF) warheads. "This adds to their ability to destroy the tanks of their neighbors, Spanish or Algerian," explains Akram Kharief, an Algerian journalist specializing in defense.
