Morocco Repatriates Over 600 Citizens from Spain Amid COVID-19 Crisis

The repatriation of Moroccans stranded in Spain continues. After the arrival of several flights that brought back hundreds of compatriots last week, 318 Moroccans were repatriated this Monday from Barcelona.
106 Moroccans, including 2 babies, were the first to be repatriated from Barcelona on Monday, June 15. They landed at Oujda airport. Two other flights with 212 Moroccan nationals also landed at Oujda airport the same day. Upon disembarking, the passengers were directed to the hotel complex reserved for their quarantine.
289 Moroccans, including children and babies, were repatriated last Friday from central Spain to Oujda in three different flights with 103, 101 and 85 passengers respectively. 310 other compatriots stranded in Spain had also been repatriated on Wednesday aboard three flights that landed in Tetouan from the Andalusia region (southern Spain).
This Tuesday, it will be the turn of Moroccans stranded in the Canary Islands to return to the country.
