Morocco Repatriates Nearly 6,000 Citizens Stranded Abroad Due to Flight Suspension

Some 5,760 Moroccans stranded abroad have already been repatriated from the United Arab Emirates, Portugal and Turkey, said Mustapha Baitas, the delegate minister in charge of Relations with Parliament, government spokesman.
Many Moroccans traveling abroad for tourism, professional, family or medical reasons found themselves stranded abroad following the decision of the Moroccan authorities to suspend flights to and from the kingdom on November 29.

Between December 15 and 22, 5,760 of them were repatriated to Morocco, said Mustapha Baitas, before the House of Representatives, assuring that the government has mobilized all the necessary services and means for the repatriation of all Moroccan citizens stranded abroad due to this measure.
