Morocco Reopens Skies to 42 Airlines, Including First Israeli Carrier

In total, 42 airlines, including one Israeli, will resume their activities in Morocco as of this Tuesday, June 15, as part of the resumption of flights to and from the kingdom. This announcement was made by Adel El Fakir, Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT).
In Morocco, Moroccan air traffic is resuming on June 15. During a new edition of the "Tourism Marketing Days" (TMD), held in hybrid mode on the theme "TMD Sky-Restart", the DG of the ONMT announced that 42 airlines will serve 43 countries, reports the MAP. Among them, four new ones: two Russian (S7 Airlines and Aeroflot), one Israeli company and another African.
In total, 3.5 million airline seats are being put on the market, between June 15 and September 30, which represents nearly three-quarters of the capacity offered during the same period in 2019. Adel El Fakir assures that these capacities are "secured, signed and established".
