Morocco’s Renard Linked to Saudi Arabia National Team Job

Two days after the elimination of the "Atlas Lions" in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, several rumors announce Hervé Renard leaving Morocco for a new challenge.
A Saudi newspaper claims that the Frenchman has been approached by the Saudi Football Federation to take over the national team.
Several months after the departure of the coach of the Saudi Arabian national team, the Argentine Juan Antonio Pizzi, the Saudi football officials seem to be interested in Hervé Renard’s candidacy, according to the article published by the local daily Arriyadiah.
The Saudi leaders would have already contacted the coach of the "Atlas Lions" and his departure would be imminent, according to the newspaper. The veracity of these allegations remains to be verified, especially since the national coach is still having trouble digesting the premature elimination of his team.
Since the defeat of Morocco against Benin, no information has circulated about the future of the double African champion. The 50-year-old coach, discreet as usual, has made no statement in this regard, specifying, during the press conference at the end of the round of 16 match: "This is not the time to talk about my future."
