Morocco to Receive 2 Million Sinopharm Vaccine Doses, Boosting Teen Vaccination Efforts
China will deliver a new batch of Sinopharm vaccine to Morocco this week. This will allow the kingdom to continue its vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, recently extended to the 12-17 age group.
Dr. Saïd Afif, member of the Scientific and Technical Vaccination Committee, says that Morocco will receive two million new doses of the vaccine developed by the Chinese laboratory Sinopharm. This new delivery will allow the kingdom to boost its vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, recently extended to the 12-17 age group.
As of September 6, the total number of doses administered is 34,688,815, including 19,136,490 first doses and 15,552,325 second doses. The Covid-19 report shows 884,085 cases of contamination, 823,330 recoveries and 13,073 deaths.
