Morocco to Receive 600,000 More Pfizer Vaccine Doses, Expanding Teen Rollout

A new shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is expected in Morocco this week. In total, 600,000 doses will be received.
After receiving 680,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine last Saturday, Morocco will receive a new batch this week. In a statement to La360, Dr. Saïd Afif, member of the Scientific and Technical Vaccination Committee, said that the kingdom will receive 600,000 doses of the vaccine developed by the American and German laboratories. This new shipment will allow the kingdom to continue its vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, soon to be extended to unschooled young people aged 12-17.
As of September 19, the total number of doses administered is 38,436,040, including 21,006,394 first doses and 17,429,646 second doses. The Covid-19 report shows 919,681 cases of contamination, 882,155 recoveries and 13,910 deaths.
