Morocco Reaffirms Commitment to UN-Led Sahara Solution at General Assembly

Morocco reaffirmed during the high-level meeting of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly its determination to find a definitive solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, within the framework of territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
This excerpt from the message of the Head of Government, Saad Dine El Otmani, broadcast on Saturday, September 26 in the Assembly Hall before the representatives of the UN member states in New York, testifies to this: "The Kingdom of Morocco remains committed to reaching a definitive solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, within the framework of its territorial integrity and national sovereignty." This political and definitive solution rests on four fundamental pillars, said the Head of Government.
These are Morocco’s full sovereignty over its Sahara and the autonomy initiative
