Morocco Ranks Third in Top Retirement Destinations for French Seniors, Study Finds

Morocco is in the top 3 of the best countries to retire for French retirees. This is the result of the ranking by the French newspaper Le Figaro.
Le Figaro studied the data of the 17 countries popular with French retirees: cost of living and housing, sunshine, quality of the health system and access to care, security, distance from Paris, presence of a French community, gastronomy, cultural life, etc. It then published its ranking of the best countries to retire for French retirees.
In order, we find Spain, Greece and Morocco in the top 3. Spain comes out on top because it is a "country" that "has no real flaw," explains the French newspaper, which extols the advantages of the northern neighbor: a low cost of living and housing, a pleasant climate, recognized gastronomy and cultural scene. Greece and Morocco owe their places to their tax conditions that are advantageous for retirees.
Mauritius occupies the 4th place in the top 10 followed by Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Poland. Belgium closes the podium.
