Morocco Ranks 4th in Africa for Champagne Imports, Global Report Shows

The Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne (CIVC) has published its report on champagne wine imports. According to this report, Morocco occupies a good position, both globally and in Africa.
According to this document published by the CIVC, Morocco ranks 4th in Africa and 43rd globally with 192,241 bottles. Far behind, Tunisia in 21st and 103rd place, respectively in Africa and globally. Algeria and Egypt are also found in this ranking, in 22nd and 30th place in Africa.
On the African continent, it is South Africa that is the leading consumer and the 22nd globally, with 855,770 bottles purchased. In total, "African countries imported more than 3 million bottles of champagne for an estimated value of 89.85 million euros, or 1.24% of the global volume of shipments."
