The new retail prices of cigarettes and other tobacco products have been published in a circular from the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration (ADII), dated December 31, 2020.
As announced last year, cigarette prices have increased on Friday, January 1, 2021. This price increase also takes into account nicotine-dosed e-liquid, shisha tobacco, rolling tobacco, and cigars.
The price increase was decided by the pricing commission for manufactured tobacco products, which is under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance. It meets twice a year to set tobacco prices in Morocco.
