Morocco Races to Complete Rabat Stadium for 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

Work on the new Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat is progressing at a steady pace. Teams are on site to ensure the jewel is available for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Time is of the essence.
Morocco is working to deliver this stadium on time to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup. Aerial photos of the construction site show that the work is progressing rapidly. The first floor is clearly taking shape and the second floor, the official stand and the VIP box are beginning to take form.
The Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat, like the other stadiums under construction for the organization of these two sporting events, must comply with the standards of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and FIFA. This requirement may lead to an extension of the delivery deadline for this infrastructure, observers say, indicating that the Rabat stadium will likely be completed in a year.
A challenge that the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is determined to meet. That is why it is closely monitoring this construction site to avoid delays in the execution and completion of the work, all of which could jeopardize Morocco’s organization of the African tournament.
