Morocco Races to Build World-Class Stadiums for 2025 CAN and 2030 World Cup

Youssef Belqasmi, chairman of the board of the national company for the realization and management of stadiums (SONARGES), assured that the construction of the Grand Stade de Casablanca in Benslimane, in preparation for the 2030 World Cup, will be completed on time. Other stadiums in the kingdom will also be renovated according to CAF standards, in the perspective of the 2025 CAN.
With a capacity of 115,000 seats, the Grand Stade de Casablanca will be built according to FIFA standards and will be ready for the 2030 World Cup that Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal, Belqasmi announced, specifying that other stadiums such as the Mohammed VI sports complex in Casablanca will also be renovated according to the standards of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host the
