French Giants Bouygues and Vinci Poised to Build Morocco’s 2030 World Cup Stadium

The construction of the Hassan II stadium in Benslimane, near Casablanca, in preparation for the 2030 World Cup, could be entrusted to the French companies Bouygues and Vinci.
The Grand Stade de Casablanca, recently renamed Hassan II, will be built on an area of 100 hectares in the Benslimane region. The British company Populous, specialized in the design of football stadiums, has made the model of this stadium which has already been officially presented to the public.
The Hassan II stadium should be delivered at the end of 2028, in order to host the Club World Cup in 2029 and the 2030 World Cup that Morocco will organize jointly with Spain and Portugal. With a capacity of 115,000 seats, the Grand Stade de Casablanca will simply be the largest in the world.
