Morocco’s Rabat-Tangier Highway Closed Overnight for Bridge Construction

The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) has announced the temporary interruption of traffic on the Larache-Sidi Lyamani section, from Wednesday, October 30 at 10 p.m. to Thursday, October 31 at 6 a.m.
The disruption of traffic at this level, the press release adds, is due to the work of installing beams of the overpass of the Lixus interchange, at the Point Kilometer 110.
An alternative route is available, allowing users heading to Tangier to take the Larache interchange and continue on the N1 National Road, before rejoining the highway via the Sidi Lyamani interchange.
The operation is also valid for the opposite direction, where users will have to leave the highway at the Sidi Lyamani interchange and rejoin it at the Larache interchange.
Apologizing for the inconvenience caused by the work, the ADM specified that signage has been placed at all levels of the highway to ensure better traffic fluidity.
The number 5050 of the Company’s Call Center is made available to users who would like more information on the traffic situation.
