Morocco Qualifies for 2021 Table Tennis World Championships in Busan

Morocco will participate in the table tennis world championships in South Korea. The national men’s team has qualified for this competition scheduled from February 25 to March 4, 2021 in the South Korean city of Busan.
To achieve this, Morocco relied on its 38th place in the world, out of a total of 228 countries. Morocco took advantage of its 6th place on the continent obtained in the latest ranking of the African Confederation.
In addition to the men’s team, the women’s team also has a good chance of qualifying for these championships according to the world ranking of the International Table Tennis Federation which will be published in early 2021.
Before the Busan World Championships in 2021, Moroccan players will benefit from good preparation, in order to "worthily defend the national colors", adds the FRMTT.
It should be recalled that the table tennis world championships were originally scheduled for March 22-29 last. They were postponed, for the first time, to the period of June 21-28 due to the health crisis.
