Morocco Targets Chelsea’s 16-Year-Old Prodigy for National Team Switch

A technical player with a magical left foot, Ibrahim Rabbaj is an exceptional dribbler and goalscorer. The 16-year-old talent, who plays in the youth categories at Chelsea, has 52 goals and 60 assists in 40 matches, reports Afrik Foot.

His style of play and precocious talent, as well as the number 10 he wears, are reminiscent of Lionel Messi. Of Moroccan origin, the young striker was born in London and has not yet chosen his sporting nationality. He has already played for Morocco and England. In December 2023, Ibrahim Rabbaj was called up with the Lionceaux of the Atlas. In 2024, he played for the English U15 and U16 teams.

On Wednesday, he participated in the match of the Moroccan U17s against Egypt (0-0). The FRMF is accelerating negotiations to definitively secure Rabbaj’s services before England.
