Morocco Courts 13-Year-Old Barcelona Prodigy for National Team

Morocco continues to search for young talents to strengthen its national team. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation is closely following Adam Qaroual, the barely 13-year-old gem from La Masia, Barcelona’s academy, and is said to have initiated negotiations to convince him to represent Morocco, his country of origin.
Of German, Spanish and Moroccan nationality, Adam Qaroual is attracting great interest from the federations of the three countries. A very technical and versatile player, the young 13-year-old talent, who wears the number 10, is nicknamed "the new Messi" at FC Barcelona’s academy, where he is performing wonders in attack as well as on the wings.
The Moroccan federation is said to have contacted the family of the La Masia gem to try to convince them to let the young player join the den of the Atlas Lions. But for now, the family has not yet made a final decision regarding Qaroual’s sporting nationality, who has the possibility of playing for Germany, Spain and Morocco.
Born in 2012 in Mönchengladbach (Germany), the young prodigy made his debut at the SV Lürrip club, before joining the team of his hometown club in 2019-2020. He then joined PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands, before landing at La Masia in 2023, where he is making a sensation.
At the Barça academy, Qaroual forms an effective duo with Moha Akhomach, the brother of Moroccan international Ilias Akhomach, playing at Villarreal. The FRMF could count on this Atlas Lion to convince the young Barça player to join the Moroccan national team.
