The Moroccan army plans to buy frozen meat for its troops stationed in the Sahara for $32 million.
According to the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), cited by Maghreb Intelligence, it is a large market of three lots of frozen meat, namely beef, mutton and camel meat.
The same source reports that the three lots will cost a total of $32 million, or 324 million dirhams.
As the domestic supply cannot cover this important market, only operators from countries with health certificates mutually agreed with Morocco will be able to apply, in accordance with the terms of the contract.
As for the successful bidders, they will be known on January 13, 2020.
