Morocco Proposes Agency to Harness Diaspora Talent for National Development

The Moroccan diaspora is called upon to play an important role in the country’s development. According to the Secretary General of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), this can only be done if the authorities create a favorable environment for better consideration.
Abdellah Boussouf made this statement on August 10, during the celebration of the "National Migrant Day". The Secretary General of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) called for the creation of a national agency whose mission will be to mobilize Moroccan skills abroad, both in the public and private sectors, reports aujourdhui.ma.
The CCME had already formulated the project in 2012 and today, Abdellah Boussouf still believes that the realization of such a project is the responsibility of the executive if it wants Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) to play a decisive role in national development. He insists on the plurality of skills of MREs and their willingness to put their potential at the service of the kingdom, specifies the same source.
