Morocco Prepares for Royal Allegiance Ceremony in Tétouan Ahead of Throne Feast

The allegiance ceremony to King Mohammed VI, organized as a prelude to the Throne Feast, will take place this year in Tétouan. The authorities of the city are busy preparing to give a warm welcome to the Moroccan and foreign officials who will attend this ceremony.
A large area is being developed near the headquarters of the wilaya in Tétouan to host the allegiance ceremony. Ministers, governors, walis, parliamentarians, commune presidents, various civilian and military personalities, as well as dozens of foreign delegations are expected at this event.
During this ceremony, the Minister of the Interior, accompanied by the walis and governors of the regions, prefectures and provinces of the kingdom, and the walis and governors of the central administration of the ministry, as well as the various representatives of the regions and provinces, pledge allegiance to the King. The ceremony ends with five cannon shots.
King Mohammed VI is currently enjoying his vacation in his palace in M’diq near Tétouan. He should deliver his Throne Speech from this city on Tuesday, July 30.
