Morocco Prepares for In-Person School Reopening in September
Schools are gearing up for the start of the school year, which is scheduled for September. Everything seems to indicate a "normal" in-person return.
Everything is being put in place for a school start far from distance learning, while the issue has still not been settled by the Ministry of Education. According to the MAP, "several provincial and regional services of the ministry have started to install the necessary devices" for the next school year. Thus, the provincial directorate of the ministry, in Rabat, has sent a note to all the school establishments under its jurisdiction to explain the measures to be taken to prepare for the next return.
Thus, it encourages the latter to implement certain measures to ensure the success of the return. This involves posting the date of the resumption of classes at the entrance to the schools, making hygiene products and prevention means available, and preparing the classrooms to welcome the students. It is also planned "to set up signage aimed at minimizing contact between students".
As for the administrative services, the note invites them "to plan the canteens and boarding schools, to disinfect and ensure the cleanliness of the objects that will be used by the staff and the students", specifies the same source.
