Morocco Police Face Disciplinary Action Over Fake Complaints and False Documents

Several employees and officials within the General Directorate of National Security have been subject to disciplinary sanctions, for their alleged involvement in the drafting of fictitious complaints and the production of false documents in court.
According to the daily Al Massae, the DGSN has given high priority to the complaints of senior state officials, victims of abusive legal proceedings and false allegations aimed at damaging their reputation.
A thorough judicial investigation, ordered for this purpose by the management, made it possible to comb through all telephone communications and to collect fingerprints in the various premises of the national administration.
The investigations, conducted by the general inspection unit, shed light on cases of settling scores targeting senior officials, the newspaper reported without specifying their nature.
Thus, as part of the implementation of the administrative mechanism for dealing with grievances and complaints against police officers, severe disciplinary sanctions, ranging from suspension of duties to legal prosecution, have been taken against the offenders, the same source said.
