Morocco’s Passport Ranks 83rd Globally, Grants Visa-Free Access to 61 Countries

The 83rd most powerful passport in the world is Moroccan, out of 109 countries. It ranks behind Tunisia (77th) and ahead of Algeria (94th). This ranking, established by the global citizenship consulting firm Henley & Partners, opens 61 borders to Moroccans.
Three Maghreb countries stand out from the others through their ranking in the group of the most powerful passports in the world. These are Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria.
Thanks to its supremacy over other passports, the Moroccan one freely opens 61 borders to its nationals, namely South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Brazil and Bolivia, among others.
Tunisian nationals, for their part, can travel freely to 67 countries without a visa. Among these are Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Brazil and Bolivia, while Algerians, with 50 countries on the counter, have easy access, in particular, to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Ecuador, the Maldives, Cape Verde, the Seychelles.
