Morocco’s Passport Power Rises: Now Offers Visa-Free Travel to 65 Countries

The Moroccan passport has gained 2 places in the annual ranking of the most powerful passports in the world, according to the latest ranking by Henley & Partners. Morocco is now ranked 80th out of 199 worldwide, allowing passport holders to travel to 65 countries without a visa.
This improvement in its international ranking is an asset for Moroccan travelers who can now access new destinations without the administrative hassle of visas.
At the continental level, Morocco outperforms Algeria, which ranks 90th with 53 visa-free destinations. The Tunisian passport, on the other hand, occupies the 76th rank and allows Tunisians to travel to 70 countries without a visa. The ranking is dominated by South Africa, which provides access to 106 countries without a visa.
At the global level, Japan remains at the top of the ranking according to The Henley Passport Index with access to 193 countries without a visa. Singapore and South Korea are also in second place with access to 192 countries without a visa.
