Morocco’s Opposition Demands Health Minister Explain Coronavirus Preparedness Plan

The deputies of the PAM, the Istiqlal and the PPS, all members of the opposition, have invited the Minister of Health to explain the system put in place by Morocco, after the detection of a case of a contaminated person in [Algeria>word115].
The Minister of Health, Khalid Aït Taleb, is invited to "an urgent meeting of the Social Affairs Committee". This is an initiative of the deputies who are members of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), led by Abdellatif Ouahbi, those of the Istiqlal, whose secretary general is Nizar Baraka, and the deputies of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), led by Nabil Benabdellah, all members of the opposition. The minister must present to the deputies of this commission the prevention system put in place against a spread of this virus in Morocco.
A PAM deputy, interviewed by Le360, explained that "the coronavirus is at the gates of the Moroccan borders; there is therefore an extreme urgency for the Minister of Health to come to Parliament, to present the security system of the kingdom. But he remains silent in the face of this epidemic," laments the elected representative of the people.
