Morocco to Open First Women-Only Café in Tetouan

Flower Cafe, that’s the name of the café reserved exclusively for women and girls. This café is about to open its doors next week in Tetouan.
A first in Morocco. Flower Cafe, a 100% female café. "It’s a 100% female space. Even the staff hired to work at the café will be made up of women," said Oumaima Ahrif, a café manager, to Morocco World News.
According to her, Ben El Khalil, the owner of the café, had thought about a project that could replace his wedding venue before the idea of creating the 100% female café emerged.
Before its transformation, Ikram’s friends were organizing meetings in this space. And this is precisely what, according to Oumaima, will be at the origin of the creation of a unique platform for women where they would feel "at ease", away from prying eyes.
Already, the news has received more positive than negative reactions. Oumaima said she has recorded many positive reactions from both women and men on Facebook.
